Karate in Madison

Emma Cooney kicked some serious booty during her Taekwondo bout today. She was the aggressor. She was the dominator. She is the Emma'nator. Emma did not win the match as scored, but the best minds in the joint, (ours and her coaches), concluded that if they had scored the match strickly, Emma would have won easily. They are supposed to get docked for backing away, and for leaving the mat. Great job Emma!

Trip to Colorado

The family went to Colorado Springs this past weekend to visit Uncle Matt.

We visited Cave of the Winds,

And rock climbed in the Garden of the Gods,

Ran the lights and sirens in a real police car.

And fed giraffes at the zoo.

The Cooney's sweet new ride

The Cooney girls took delivery of a brand new dune buggy, and got to show it off at Colby's birthday party. All the kids got to truck around in it.

Colby's and Aubrey's "My Day's on Fire" Birthday

Colby and Aubry had a visit from the local fire department for their birthday. They brought a pumper and an ambulance for the kids to climb over. They ran the siren when they left, and there was even a fire-woman!

Kenna's new summer camp

This is Kenna at her new camp with her first counselor Hilary. Kenna gets to go to Camp Summit every day and swim, and have a couple field trips every week.

Our hope was that Kenna would get to meet new friends that would go to her new Kindergarten this fall. Her friends are Haley, Jordyn, Kaley(sp?), and Kenzie.

Treva's interesting outfit

This is a swim ring for babys that Treva found a new use for.

Christmas Bumper Cars

The kids got bumper cars for Christmas. Here Treva and Kiley are driving while Emma and Kenna watch.

The cars have two handles, each driving a rear wheel. One can go forward, while the other is in reverse, allowing quick turns.

These things are powerful enough, the girls can lift the front tires off the ground, which I think Kiley is doing here.
